3. Rehoming
--------------
We rehome dogs as part of our service to our dog community. We have rehomed a lovely Lab/Shar Pei in January which was referred to us via Harwood Veterinary. We presently have a Springer/Poodle, black and white called Max who is presently being rehabilitated to love being in the company of men.

4. Training Tip
--------------
NEVER tell your dog off for growling. Growling is a normal part of doggie communication and acts as a warning that the growler is uncomfortable.
Almost all aggressive behaviour is based in fear. If we yell or tell off a dog for growling we are likely to teach him that there is a reason to be scared and the next time he may not give you a warning…
If your dog growls or shows discomfort in a situation, give him what he wants – distance. Then ring us so as to put a program in place to help your dog feel more comfortable in that situation.

5. Doggy Books
-------------------

Patricia McConnell's Tales of Two Species: Essays on Loving and Living With Dogs collects her columns or essays from The Bark magazine, and there's a new edition of Jean Donaldson's Dogs Are from Neptune
Alexandra Horowitz's Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know is enjoyable and sometimes insightful, esp. on the primacy of scent in dogs' apprehension of the world.
Ted Kerasote's Merle's Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog is a lovely recollection of a dog with a remarkable personality

6. Doggie Videos
--------------------
A series of videos are highlights of the Puppy Prodigies Neo-natal & Early Learning program. Their program consists of a full learning regime that all their puppies go through.
Dog Day of Summer-- excellent way of showcasing dogs ability of having a grand old time during the summer months. And great way of seeing what clicker training can do for you!
16 Goldens teaching about the structure of atoms (video) A crack team of PhD-trained golden retrievers illustrate the structure of atoms - the particles that make up everything around you. They also show how atoms are weirder than you might think.
