KIDS FEST 2011.... We were there! There were a few less people and a few less stands than last year, but the enthusiasm of the kids was contagious. They really do put on a great event with lots of activities. See the pictures here
DOG CONFEENCE: Blair and Natalie are going to San Diego for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) Conference in October. There are now 6000 members. Five days of listening and interacting with some of the best dog trainers and behaviouralist in the western world. And we will come back with some fresh ideas!
STAY AT OUR BACH FOR FREE !! We are canvassing for a foster family for Max, our Spoodle while we are in the States at our conference in October (18 days in total). If you know Max, he's a very friendly dog who plays with all dogs. He'd be a great companion for your dog. We would need someone who is mostly at home during the day.
On approval, and certain conditions (of course), you will get the keys to our bach-- it's a very kiwi-style crib on the shores of Lake Ellesmere (dog friendly, of course).
Give us an email if you or you know someone who can help. We are also needing someone to care for Max from Dec 23 to Feb 18'ish.--- Email us at info@nakeddog.co.nz
SNOW DOGS: If you were away for the snow, here are some of our pictures

Dog Training For Kids- We've had a fabulous response to the Go Guide, and the schools newsletter. We are definitely looking forward to tomorrow night. We may give it again in September, so if you would like to enlist your kid and dog, email us
Next Kinderpuppy classes
Tuesday Sept 6 at the Foundation of the Blind
Thursday Sept 8 at the Wainoni Boys Scouts. Check website for times.
Life Skills Class for dogs older than 5 months continues this week at both locations.Register online
Please remember that our Life Skills Classes are for those dogs that don't have reactive issues to other dogs, and are calm enough to pay attention. If your dog is having trouble in class, you will be frustrated, and your dog will too. Why not get us to your house and do a private consult and get you started teaching your dog in a less distractive environment!
