CLASS BEGINS: The fist Thursday of the month, however you may start anytime.

Thursdays 7:30 to 8:30pm in August...
(arrive 5 to 10 minutes before to toilet, and exercise your dog)

PLEASE NOTE: other times and places will be available throughout the year. If Thursdays don't suit, let us know as we can arrange for other times and area to train. We are flexible, just ask.

Description: This is a levels class which means that each lesson builds up from the last class. Great for older pups (5 months and older) & adult dogs looking for more than a basic obedience class...
Here is what you'll learn

• sit, where and when the handler says
• down when and where the handler says
• demonstrate the ability to wait nicely in a sit for a few moments building to a few minutes
• recall past other dogs
• walk on a loose leash with mild to heavier distractions
• demonstrate the ability to "leave it" momentarily when something fun or tasty drops to the floor or the ground in front of him or her
• demonstrate the ability to meet new people without leaping on them
• build some self control and focus by watching the handler
• run and play with your doggie friends in a fenced in area
  

This is "reality based" manners. We will work on basic skills each week, and then have a fun game, (like musical sit), using these skills! Learn to bicycle with your 4 footed friend too in the more advance course)

Clicker training We will introduce this in our class so you know what it is, and how simple it works. There is no pressure to use a clicker, but you'll see how easy it is to mark a behaviour. We sell clickers for $5.00 or you can buy them at a pet shop which cost anywhere between $7 to $12.00

Children: They are more than welcome. If they are quit young, have some toys for them to play with. They are your responsiblity. They can join in the training, but we have classes especially for kids which might suit them better.

Cost? The price listed here is for 'pay in advance'. .Cost is for 1 dog at a time, trained by the same ...........person/family.
